Welcome to spakrista's first day of blogging!

Hello!  I'm so excited and there is so much to tell ...where to begin...

Lets start with my amazing Mother.  She is my inspiration.  I miss her more than words could ever describe.  She was a strong, intelligent and beautiful woman both inside and out.  I only wish she were here to guide me with her experience and knowledge of successfully owning and running her own business.  I will make you proud Mom.  I love you.

Losing my Mother helped me realize how important it is to inform others of how we must take care of this skin we all live in.  And just a few years ago while taking a leisurely Sunday drive with my husband, I suddenly blurted out, "I want to open a skin care spa".  That realization of the importance of skin care was apparently ready to come to life and my husband graciously replied, "Fantastic.  How do you want to get started?".

From that moment things fell in to place.  Within months, the company I had worked for the past 6 years was sold.  My job was gone and I quickly went back to school.  Fast forward to today, I have graduated and secured a location for spakrista.  

We are in the begining stages and there are more details and numbers than I could have possibly imagined.  With the help of fantastic family and friends, spakrista will soon be open!
